Half Day Bird of Prey Experience
Approx. 2.5 hours of hands-on and expert demonstrationsOn arrival at our base in Leatherhead, Surrey, your expert falconer will welcome you with refreshments and a brief introduction. During your time with us you will get up close and personal with a variety of birds of prey, gaining an insight into their lives and learning about the special adaptations of each. Under the expert guidance of your falconer, you will learn how to handle these magnificent birds and experience the thrill of flying them to and from your gloved hand.
This is a special experience for a maximum of four people, therefore we cannot accommodate spectators.

Hawk Walk
Approx. 2.5 hours in the countryside flying hawksJoin us and our hawks on a stroll through woodland and across open countryside in Surrey. The hawks follow-on, flying from tree to tree and tree to glove. This is a great way to be close to raptors; observing their opportunistic, natural behaviour and hunting styles; and gaining an insight into how they have adapted to their environment. You will get lots of personal attention during the hawk walk as we have a maximum ratio of 2 guests per falconer. To ensure that our guests receive all our attention, we cannot accommodate spectators on our hawk walks.

Half Day Falconry Experience
Approx. 2.5 hours of learning the techniques of falconryLearn the language and essential skills of falconry during this half day experience. On arrival, you will receive a warm welcome with refreshments and an opportunity to chat to your falconer about what you want to get out of your special falconry experience.
You will learn about the birds of prey that you will be handling and flying during your falconry experience, and how to check that they are fully fit and ready to fly. We will then prepare our ‘hawk food’ before setting off to fly a selection of birds of prey.
The falconry experience is one where you will be the one handling and flying our birds of prey under the close supervision of one of our expert falconers.
At the end of the day, we will return to base for coffee and biscuits and an opportunity to ask any final questions.
